Jon focuses his practice on the representation of management in all aspects of labor and employment law. He represents management in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in a wide range of matters, including employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage and hour disputes, including class and collective actions. Aside from his general employment practice, Jon represents employers in traditional labor matters, such as in arbitrations, collective bargaining negotiations and before the National Labor Relations Board. Jon also has extensive experience in public sector labor & employment law, with experience representing large municipalities in both state and federal court, State Employment Relations Board hearings, union negotiations, grievance arbitration and various other forums.
When not representing clients in court or at the bargaining table, Jon provides counseling and training to clients for best practices on a wide range of human resource issues such as terminations, compliance with employment laws, workplace investigations, and the preparation of policies and employment agreements. Jon is also OSHA 30 certified and regularly advises employers regarding Occupational Safety and Health Act compliance.
