Frantz Ward Associate Meghan C. Lewallen was recently appointed as Co-Chair of the Ladder Down Cleveland Executive Committee effective January 1, 2025.

“It is an honor to serve as Co-Chair of Ladder Down Cleveland,” said Meghan. “Ladder Down’s dedication to leadership empowerment and business development for women lawyers is truly invaluable. I’m grateful for the lasting impact Ladder Down and its extended network have had on my life and career and am thrilled to lead the program into its seventh year!”

Meghan is a 2023 Ladder Down Cleveland alumna and served on the Executive Committee in 2024. Her dedication to supporting and empowering women lawyers is a shining example of “holding the ladder down” for other women to ensure they have the tools to thrive.

In her new role as Co-Chair, Meghan will lead the Executive Committee and grow the Ladder Down Cleveland cohort through its phenomenal programing, panels, and networking events, which center on developing leadership and business development skills, empowering women, and building a strong network of women lawyers.

Meghan is an experienced litigator and focuses her practice on general business litigation, transportation law, real estate brokerage defense, and employment litigation. In her diverse practice, she represents companies nationwide defending against personal injury and catastrophic accident claims and helps individuals and entities of all sizes navigate disputes including misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of non-compete agreements, and infringement of intellectual property rights.

Ladder Down Cleveland is a year-long program that focuses on leadership empowerment, mentoring, and business development for women lawyers. The course includes group leadership training sessions, as well as a four-month business development bootcamp designed to develop and sustain client relationships, increase visibility, and improve self-advocacy for women attorneys. Frantz Ward is a proud sponsor of the program and has been since the Cleveland cohort was created in 2019.
