Keenan M. Jones to Discuss Indiana’s Evolving Cannabis Landscape at Sagamore Inn of Court

Frantz Ward Partner Keenan M. Jones will present “The Hoosier Haze: Cannabis Law in Indiana and Beyond” at the Sagamore American Inn of Court on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, in Indianapolis.

Keenan will address the evolving legal landscape of cannabis law both in Indiana and nationwide, with a focus on key statutory developments and their practical implications. He will discuss:

  • a brief history of Cannabis Law,
  • the impact of the 2018 Farm Bill,
  • the challenges that federal loopholes pose for state-level enforcement, and
  • Indiana’s current regulatory approach and how it fits into the broader national trend toward legalization.

As a member of Frantz Ward’s Cannabis Law & Policy practice, Keenan advises clients on a range of legal issues impacting the cannabis and hemp industries. He is licensed in Indiana, Ohio, and Colorado and has worked with cannabis clients since 2017. Keenan previously practiced in Indianapolis and brings local insight to this increasingly complex and fast-moving area of law.

The Sagamore Inn was founded in 1997 to offer a forum for attorneys or judges to meet and discuss ethical issues relating to the practice of law. The Inn of Courts held their inaugural meeting on March 18, 1998, and the Sagamore Inn became the 314th American Inn of Court, in a movement that has now grown to nearly 400 Inns nationwide.
