Keenan M. Jones Appointed to City of Hudson Board of Zoning and Building Appeals

Frantz Ward Partner Keenan M. Jones was recently appointed to the City of Hudson’s Board of Zoning and Building Appeals (BZBA), representing Ward 1 and reflecting both his legal experience and interest in serving the local community through public service. His term will run through December 31, 2026.

The BZBA acts on requests for variances from zoning regulations and appeals from the Architectural and Historic Board of Review (AHBR), Planning Commission, and administrative decisions. The board works alongside the ABHR and the Planning Commission for all building and zoning projects.

In this position, Keenan will:

  • review applications,
  • assess supporting documentation such as site plans and photographs,
  • participate in public hearings, and
  • evaluate whether requests meet the standards set by the zoning code.

He will also take part in board discussions on zoning procedures and application requirements, including proposed updates related to variance criteria and submittal expectations.

In his practice, Keenan represents businesses in litigation, corporate formation, business development, and the protection of intellectual property. His experience navigating complex regulatory frameworks and advising on real estate matters in the cannabis realm aligns him with the needs of the BZBA.
