Frantz Ward Managing Partner Christopher G. Keim was recently featured in Cleveland.com to discuss the aspects of the firm that have helped it consistently rank among the publication’s Top Workplaces.

In the most recent edition, Frantz Ward ranked sixth out of 107 Northeast Ohio companies with fewer than 150 employees named to Top Workplaces 2026.

As part of the feature, Chris shared that keeping employees informed about business operations and strategic plans has played a crucial role in keeping everyone aligned for the future. He noted that Frantz Ward’s annual “State of the Firm” event, the weekly internal newsletter, and quarterly meetings with staff, associates, and partners serve as valuable touchpoints to keep the team up to date on the direction of the firm, new initiatives, and other developments.

By keeping employees in the loop, the firm has made employee feedback a direct driver of operational change. When employees reported feeling “meeting fatigue,” firm leadership worked to reduce the length and frequency of these touchpoints, shifting toward more intentional, structured gatherings that have been both more productive and better focused on connecting employees to shared goals.

Chris also highlighted the use of employee surveys as methods for gathering employee feedback and turning it into real initiatives, as well as the firm’s “Idea Forum” program, which incentivizes employees to submit their ideas to improve the firm, further reinforcing the culture of open communication.
