Thomas G. Haren Honored in Crain’s Cleveland Business 2026 Who’s Who List

Congratulations to Partner Thomas G. Haren on being named to the Crain’s Cleveland Business Who’s Who List for the second consecutive year, recognizing him as one of the 177 most influential people in Northeast Ohio.

Tom is a leader in Ohio’s legal cannabis industry, having played an instrumental role in the campaign to pass Ohio’s Issue 2 (2023) and launch the state’s cannabis market. His deep roots in the industry and extensive real-world experience have made him a trusted advisor to policymakers and stakeholders alike.

Tom chairs the firm’s Cannabis Practice Group, spearheading one of the firm’s fast-growing practices. Alongside his ongoing recognition in The Best Lawyers in America® and Chambers USA, he was honored in Crain’s Cleveland Business Power 150 in 2024 for his work pioneering the legalization of adult-use marijuana in Ohio and was previously named to the Top 200 Global Cannabis Lawyer Directory.

Tom represents licensed operators and ancillary service providers, advising cannabis clients on issues including license acquisition, corporate transactions, litigation, day-to-day business matters, strategic planning, municipal law, and regulatory compliance. He has led some of the largest M&A deals in the Ohio cannabis market, representing both the selling license holders and acquiring entities.
