The Ohio legislature has extended the Ohio and municipal income tax filing and payment dates for 2019 income taxes from April 15, 2020 to July 15, 2020.
There will be no need to file an extension request by April 15, 2020; it is automatic. However, anyone seeking a filing extension beyond July 15, 2020 will need to do so by that date.
No action has yet been taken regarding the so-call CAT tax on business enterprises. We will keep you apprised of any developments in that regard.
