This month, Partner Marc A. Sanchez will share key construction insights with legal counsel and industry professionals in two separate presentations for BARBRI and the Construction Employers Association (CEA).
On Tuesday, July 14, Marc will join BARBRI’s Continuing Legal Education (CLE) course, “Performance Bonds and CGL Insurance in Construction Projects: Navigating Interplay Between Insurance and Surety,” as a panelist. The presentation will discuss important distinctions between insurance and suretyship and highlight how CGL policies and performance bonds interact when dealing with losses associated with defective work or property damage.

On Wednesday, July 29, Marc will provide actionable frameworks to improve contract negotiating and drafting for construction industry members. He will share drafting and negotiation best practices for the top 10 most important provisions in construction contracts and discuss trending industry topics such as concealed conditions, contingent payment provisions, indemnity, no-damage-for-delay, and more.
