Frantz Ward is pleased to announce Jenifer E. Novak has been recognized in Legal Aid Society of Cleveland’s Time Well Spent Honor Society for volunteering over 500 cumulative hours of service on pro bono cases. She will be honored for her dedication to service with Legal Aid’s Volunteer Lawyers Program at the organization’s annual Celebrate Pro Bono Reception on Wednesday, October 22.

Jenifer’s commitment to giving back to the community reflects Frantz Ward’s values of service and leadership. Through her extensive pro bono work, she has helped expand access to justice to those who would otherwise go unrepresented.

Jenifer focuses her practice on defending general product liability claims, mass toxic torts, and general business disputes, including breach of contract and warranty claims in both federal and state courts. She is part of national coordinating counsel teams for several clients that manage asbestos and benzene toxic tort claims nationwide and is an active local trial counsel in Ohio. Jenifer’s toxic tort practice also includes defending clients in emerging cosmetic talc litigation.

Inaugurated in 2024, the Time Well Spent Honor Society is celebrated during the American Bar Association’s National Celebrate Pro Bono Week. The Time Well Spent Honor Society recognizes private attorney volunteers as they reach milestones of hours served in their work as pro bono colleagues. Attorneys who “take a case” from Legal Aid deliver important pro bono service.
