Bradley N. Ouambo and Stacey M. Sanderson Named Frantz Ward’s DEI Committee Leads
Frantz Ward is pleased to announce that Associates Bradley N. Ouambo and Stacey M. Sanderson have been named Chair and Co-Chair, respectively, of the firm’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) committee.
We recognize that a diverse workplace enriches the personal and professional lives of each of our employees and believe that the firm is stronger and more dynamic when it draws on the perspectives of people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
“When the opportunity to be further involved in the firm’s DEI initiatives arose, I proudly put myself forth to be considered for the role,” Brad said. “I’m grateful for my team’s trust in me and Stacey and am excited to continue to honor and highlight the differences that make us all unique and the firm a special place to work.”
The DEI committee is dedicated to building connections between the firm and community in which we work and live, identifying opportunities for Frantz Ward to give back to Cleveland and the broader Northeast Ohio region, and working with the hiring committee to ensure all team members benefit fully from the firm’s resources. We are proud to see our associates stepping up and taking the lead on such an important initiative.
“This year, my word is intentional. Frantz Ward’s DEI committee is more than an hour lunch and a free break. It’s intentional,” Stacey said at her first committee meeting as Co-Chair. “DEI isn’t a moment—it’s a mindset.”
The committee has been instrumental in the firm achieving the Midsize Mansfield Rule Certification, signifying the firm’s proactive efforts in breaking down barriers and fostering an environment that promotes equity, inclusion, and diversity within the legal industry.
Brad concentrates his practice on construction law and related litigation. He has experience in construction, transportation, and real estate, and is well-versed in managing all stages of litigation, from complaints through depositions, settlements, and trials.
Stacey defends and advises employers on a wide variety of workplace matters and claims including discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, restrictive covenants, and FMLA, ADA, and Title VII compliance. With federal regulations and expectations in flux, clients turn to Stacey for trusted guidance on structuring compliant and effective DEI strategies.
