Angela D. Lydon Recognized in Crain’s 40 Under Forty Class of 2025

Frantz Ward is proud to announce that Partner Angela D. Lydon was named in Crain’s Cleveland Business’ 40 Under Forty Class of 2025, recognizing her achievement as a dynamic young professional and community leader in Northeast Ohio.

As Vice-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, Angie leads a Chambers USA- and Legal 500-recognized business litigation practice in which has secured major victories in contentious matters for clients across trial and appellate courts. Examples of this include:

  • Obtaining summary judgment for an insurance brokerage in a more than $20 million breach-of-contract dispute involving 20+ depositions.
  • Securing the dismissal of all claims against a national insurer in a multi-million-dollar insurance coverage dispute in the Southern District of Ohio, which she successfully defended on appeal.
  • Securing a complete defense verdict in a personal injury case in Cuyahoga County.
  • Prevailing before the Eighth District Court of Appeals in upholding a favorable preliminary injunction in a high-stakes non-compete and trade secret case.

Her work to help shape national litigation strategy and elevate best practices across the industry is evident through her involvement in associations such as Ohio State Bar Association and ALFA International’s Business Litigation Steering Committee. She also mentors the next generation of legal professionals as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law and promotes professional development as an Associate in the John M. Manos Inn of Court.

Beyond her legal practice, she supports youth engagement and community service as a Board Member of Caring Cubs.
