Overview
Patrick has been involved in all areas of litigation, focusing on general business litigation matters including real estate and professional liability defense, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of non-compete agreements, and cannabis regulatory issues.
He counsels clients on all stages of litigation including, researching and analyzing complex legal issues, navigating discovery, and drafting dispositive motions.
Representative Experience
- Drafted cannabis cultivator, processor, and dispensary change of ownership applications and certificate of operations license applications that were submitted to the Ohio Department of Commerce and the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
- Drafted Rule 12(B)(6) motion to dismiss on behalf of defendant real estate licensee and real estate brokerage leading to the dismissal of the complaint with prejudice.
- Argued before the Court of Common Pleas in Hamilton County in an administrative appeal of denial of cannabis dispensary license.
