Thomas J. Lipker

Thomas supports clients in a variety of practice industries including labor & employment and health care, by reviewing and drafting contracts, drafting pleadings, responding to discovery requests, and submitting briefs and memos. He draws from a background in health care law and estate planning and engineers creative and multifaceted solutions to complex legal questions.

Before joining Frantz Ward as an Associate, Thomas served as a Law Clerk and Summer Associate at the firm, conducting legal research, case law analysis, and contributing to litigation strategy. He also held roles as a Federal Judicial Extern to the Honorable Solomon Oliver, Jr., a Legal Intern at the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic, and a Legal Extern at an integrated network of hospitals. In these roles, Thomas represented clients in Social Security Administrative hearings, reviewed grants, advised on state laws and statutes for compliance purposes, advanced health care directives, and established wills.

Outside of his legal practice, Thomas enjoys playing squash, racquetball, the flute and saxophone, and exploring Cleveland’s art and music scene.
