Practice Areas

Mary Beth McConville is a member of the business practice group and focuses her practice on real estate tax law. She handles matters involving residential, commercial, vacant, industrial, and special purpose properties and guides clients through real property taxation matters, providing advice on potential tax reductions and tax exemption, crafting defenses against increase requests filed by boards of education, negotiating settlements between various parties, and as needed, litigating cases.

She has represented local boards of education in real property valuation disputes at the Board of Revision and Ohio Board of Tax Appeals.

Before joining Frantz Ward, Mary Beth served as a Senior Attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, working on projects related to foreclosure, estate planning, probate, and tax.

With over 20 years of legal experience, clients trust Mary Beth to provide personalized guidance and practical solutions to their real estate tax matters.
