Overview
Alexa concentrates her practice in construction, corporate, real estate, and civil litigation, representing owners, contractors, subcontractors, developers, and businesses both in drafting and negotiating the contracts that govern a project and in resolving disputes that may arise. While she manages cases from case evaluation to resolution, regularly appearing before state courts, she also advocates for clients in arbitration and mediation proceedings.
Her transactional work includes drafting and negotiating construction contracts, purchase agreements, commercial leases, operating agreements, and easements, along with counseling clients on mechanic’s liens, insurance coverage, and regulatory compliance. On the litigation side, Alexa manages document-intensive matters involving project files, engineering reports, and expert materials. Throughout her practice, she brings a practical, business-oriented perspective, balancing immediate legal considerations with each client’s broader objectives.
Prior to joining Frantz Ward, Alexa practiced at a boutique real estate and construction firm in Cleveland, where she also handled estate planning and probate matters. Alexa began building her transactional experience in law school, working as a Transactional Student Clinician under a nationally recognized professor and corporate attorney.
