Frantz Ward Attorney Megan E. Bennett Named to FDCC Ladder Down Cleveland Class of 2020

Frantz Ward is pleased to announce that attorney Megan E. Bennett has been named to the Cleveland Class of 2020 of the Federation of Defense Corporate Counsel (FDCC) Ladder Down program. The program began on January 16, 2020. Frantz Ward is a proud sponsor of the program and Megan served on the Cleveland Program Committee in 2019.
 
FDCC Ladder Down is a year-long program dedicated to empowering female attorneys by providing coaching in the critical areas of leadership, business development, and mentoring. Ladder Down was founded in 2012 by Phoenix attorneys Alison Christian and Beth Fitch and has run programs in Phoenix, Seattle, San Francisco and other cities.
 
Megan focuses her practice on the representation of management in all aspects of labor and employment law. She provides day-to-day counseling to employers by researching and recommending best practices for companies on human resources issues such as terminations, compliance with employment laws, workplace investigations, and the preparation of policies and employment agreements. Additionally, Megan aids in the defense of employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and various other employment-related claims before judicial bodies and administrative agencies. She received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Megan also has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communications from the University of Dayton. Prior to law school, Megan taught Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten in New York City through Teach for America. Megan holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Lehman College of the City University of New York.
