Frantz Ward Attorney Megan E. Bennett Elected to West Side Catholic Center’s Board of Directors

Frantz Ward is proud to announce that Labor and Employment attorney Megan E. Bennett has been elected to the West Side Catholic Center’s Board of Directors. Megan has been involved with the West Side Catholic Center since 2014, previously serving as a member of the Associate Board, Co-Chair of the Sips and Swigs Fundraiser, and a member of the Advancement Committee.

Since 1977, the West Side Catholic Center has offered hot meals, hospitality, clothing and household goods, emergency services, advocacy, a family shelter, housing solutions, and workforce development training to those in need at no charge, regardless of religious affiliation. The West Side Catholic Center was established in 1977 by several area churches that saw a critical need within the community due to extreme poverty. We are a unique, private, not-for-profit agency with Catholic roots, independent of the Catholic Diocese and Catholic Charities.

Megan focuses her practice on the representation of management in all aspects of labor and employment law. She provides day-to-day counseling to employers by researching and recommending best practices for companies on human resources issues such as terminations, compliance with employment laws, workplace investigations, and the preparation of policies and employment agreements. Additionally, Megan aids in the defense of employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and various other employment-related claims before judicial bodies and administrative agencies. She received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Megan also has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communications from the University of Dayton. Prior to law school, Megan taught Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten in New York City through Teach for America. Megan holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Lehman College of the City University of New York.
