Commercial Lending Transactions and Banking Law

Our Commercial Lending Transactions practice concentrates on the representation of banks, thrifts, and other lending institutions in all elements of negotiating, structuring, closing, and enforcing a wide variety of lending transactions, as well as counseling clients in connection with issues pertaining to lending matters and their ramifications. Our assignments in this field have included a wide range of real estate and corporate loans, including single and multiple-site construction loans, permanent loan facilities, secured and unsecured line of credit and letter of credit facilities and a variety of term, revolving, participating and special-purpose lending transactions. Our experience across a spectrum of lending arrangements, and the active participation of our real estate, public finance and bankruptcy lawyers in our commercial lending practice, enable us to bring a pragmatic and customer-oriented approach to our work in the commercial lending field.

The firm also represents commercial banks, finance companies, savings institutions and institutional lenders in a wide range of matters, including general banking matters, regulatory compliance, secured and unsecured lending, equity participation, asset lending, workouts, restructurings and debtor-in-possession financings and project financings.
