Overview

As a paralegal with more than 15 years of experience, Amy provides comprehensive support to Frantz Ward lawyers engaged in a broad range of litigation at the state, federal and appellate levels.

Amy has worked on numerous complex, high-volume cases from inception to conclusion and has developed extensive experience undertaking case management, performing factual research, handling all forms of document control, analysis and production, database management and e-Discovery. She assists with deposition, arbitration and trial preparation and provides on-site litigation support at trials, hearings, mediations and arbitrations using industry leading document management and trial presentation technology.

Practices

    • Assisted counsel in preparation for and attendance at AAA arbitration to successfully defend a performance bond surety against claims in excess of $32 million.
    • Provided on-site trial support regarding the Ohio Alcoholic Beverages Franchise Act to successfully terminate a franchise between a winery and the distributor.
    • Provided extensive preparation and on-site trial support for five weeks in Minnesota District Court for a matter involving patent infringement and theft of trade secrets.
    • Assisted attorneys as national coordinating counsel for multiple nationwide clients involved in toxic tort litigation.
    • Assisted counsel with case management, discovery, document collection, trial preparation and courtroom support for alleged wrongful termination of employee-police officer.
    • Provided arbitration preparation to successfully defend a dispute involving the party’s failure to make payments under several contractual agreements.
