Overview
Katie provides legal counsel to management on a wide range of labor and employment law issues and aids in the defense of employers in both state and federal courts and before administrative agencies.
She has experience in a wide range of matters, including employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage and hour disputes. Katie researches human resources issues such as terminations, and compliance with employment laws and prepares policies and employment agreements to assist in providing day-to-day counseling to clients.
Representative Experience
- Obtained dismissal of numerous employment discrimination charges before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Ohio Civil Rights Commission.
- Represented employer in a favorable resolution of a Title VII claim.
- Assisted in the representation of several federal contractors in OFCCP compliance audits.
