Joseph P. Guenther



Joe was a Frantz Ward Summer Associate in 2015 before becoming an Associate with the firm in the fall of 2016. He received his law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School where he graduated cum laude. While in law school, Joe served in the Notre Dame Community Development Clinic as a Certified Student Legal Intern where he represented clients who had a vision for making Northern Indiana a better place to live.

During the summer of 2014, Joe worked in the Defense Service Office for the United States Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps in Pensacola, Florida, where he provided research, drafted motions for use in courts-martial, and aided in administrative separation boards.

Prior to law school, Joe was a program coordinator with the Ohio Department of Veterans Services. He received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from The Ohio State University where he graduated summa cum laude. Joe also served honorably in the Army National Guard as an aircraft powertrain repairer with the 638th Aviation Support Battalion out of North Canton, Ohio.


    • Counseled individuals, non-profit corporations, and religious organizations on issues regarding entity formation, corporate governance, and real estate while with the Notre Dame Clinical Law Center.
