Construction Attorney Michael J. Frantz, Jr. Appointed to Steering Committee for Division 6 of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law

Frantz Ward is proud to announce that attorney, Michael J. Frantz, Jr., has been appointed to the Division 6 Steering Committee for the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law.
 
The mission of Division 6 (Workforce Management and Human Resources) of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law is to educate members regarding human resource, employment and labor issues including hiring/firing, training and retention, employment benefits, employment agreements, employment manuals and policies, discrimination, harassment, immigration, safety and OSHA compliance, wage/hour issues, collective bargaining, labor relations and other issues affecting the construction workforce and the employer.
 
Mike dedicates his legal practice to the construction industry. He regularly assists his clients with preparing and reviewing contract documents, developing and implementing risk avoidance procedures, closing out projects, and managing project-related claims, such as breach of contract claims, delay and acceleration claims, differing site condition claims, and defective work/defective design claims. Mike also has an extensive understanding of the insurance and surety industries. He regularly assists his clients with insurance coverage disputes, preparing and responding to bond claims, and analyzing surety and indemnitor rights under General Indemnity Agreements. He maintains a multi-jurisdictional practice in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New Jersey. His extensive trial and appellate litigation experience allows him to advise clients on the best methods to avoid unnecessary, expensive litigation or aggressively defend/prosecute claims should litigation become necessary.

Mike received his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law and his B.A. in Business Economics, with High Honors, from Michigan State University.
