Partner Ian H. Frank Appointed Chair of American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law, Division 9

Frantz Ward LLP is pleased to announce that partner Ian H. Frank was recently appointed Chair of Division 9 (Subcontractors and Suppliers) of the American Bar Association, Forum on Construction Law. He will serve a two-year term ending in May 2018.

The ABA Forum on Construction Law is the largest organization of construction lawyers in the world with over 6,000 members. The Forum has 13 substantive divisions that represent the varied interests of its members, as well as a Young Lawyers Division.

Ian H. Frank dedicates his practice to all facets of construction and surety law. He counsels and represents contractors, subcontractors, specialty trades, material and equipment manufacturers, design professionals and other project participants in developing, managing, resolving and litigating complex commercial construction disputes, as well as negotiating contracts utilizing a vast array of project delivery methods. Ian frequently represents clients in diverse construction disciplines, including road and bridge construction, heavy civil/tunneling projects, earthwork and utility construction, structural steel fabrication and erection, and all aspects of general trades and commercial building construction.

Ian is nationally recognized in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, named to The Best Lawyers in America, and is rated AV-Preeminent, the highest rating, by Martindale-Hubbell. Ian has a J.D., magna cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Baldwin Wallace University.
