At Frantz Ward, summer law clerks work with attorneys from the firm's various practice areas on diverse, substantive projects.
In addition to traditional assignments such as performing legal research, drafting memoranda, and preparing briefs and motions, summer law clerks are given the opportunity to attend, observe and participate in various activities outside of the office. Frantz Ward attorneys make every effort to see that summer law clerks attend client meetings, depositions, arbitrations, trials, and other similar activities. These assignments and activities provide a realistic view of the firm's practice.
Each summer law clerk at Frantz Ward is assigned a mentor at both the associate and partner levels. Mentors help to ensure that summer clerks receive meaningful and diverse projects, and that they attend several activities outside of the office. In addition to the firm's mentoring program, summer clerks are provided ongoing evaluations throughout the summer. The evaluation process allows summer clerks to receive substantive feedback, both informally and in written form, from the firm's attorneys.
Frantz Ward attorneys interview at a variety of law schools for its summer law clerk program. We also encourage inquiries from students at law schools that our attorneys are unable to visit.
